Hi,
I have twelve days more to go for the SCJP Exam. Is it worth buying the JQ Plus software? Will I be able to finsih all the 11 exams? In my expereince , I found that it is very time consuming process(any mock exam). Rightnow, I am in the process of reading Kathy the second time. I have almost finished Dan(not with a good score), and I am doing Marcus's now and I am getting between 70-90. They are too good. Still, I do not want to take any chances as I have two kids and they always run around so much and ask me questions every other minute and I get distracted all the time.
The licence problem does not bother me as I feel genuine cases will be taken care.
Thanks,
Regards,
Raman

Hi Raman,
Personally I wouldn't buy it at this stage, I think I would
fill the gaps I would find with Dan's exams for example.
I'm not giving the exam yet but I think some last minute
material definitely should be the collections and thread
tutorials of Sun. For me they have been of great help next
to K&B.
Anyway, the best of luck.

I had similar results with you before I bought and started the JQPlus tests(average for Marcus Green's Mock Exams - 72%, average for Dan Chishlom's Mock Exams(1-19) - 62%) and I scored 93% in the exam.
Doing the JQPlus tests I felt that I increased my percentage by 3%-5%. By the time I was doing the tests most of the questions seemed very familiar because I have done so many free online mock exams.
So the bottomline is that I would advise you to only do the exams if you need the extra 3%-5% that much. No matter how well or bad you did in the Dan's exams it a great resource for revising together with the main points of a good book. Good luck and all the best!!

Hi all,
Thanks a lot for your inputs. I think i am getting better day by day. I am feeling more and more confident when i am reading Kathy's book the second time. I have not attempted all the free mock exams. I am doing Jcertificate, Dan and marcus's. That is all. I feel that it is worth doing.
Regards,
Radha.

be confident and stay confident. With Dan's exams and Kathy's & Bert's book the exam should be a walk in the park!
