I just got my voucher and i am very confident i would take the exam and will pass the exam. Just wondering if anyone has ANY last confidence boosting word i intend to write it next week. Have taken most mocks and i am doing well. I have also taken some of Dan's exams and it's going well. I am presently reading the JLS 2.0 as a last material, is this advisable? Thanks in advance.

Don't forget to register for the exam now that you have your voucher.

JLS, well it's a good reference, but I doubt that reading it through will be very, um, relaxing. If you can get hold of it Gosling et al's "The Java Programming Language" would be a good read.

It sounds like you are prepared. My best bit of advice now is to make sure you are rested and hydrated before taking the exam. And by all means continue to review - but don't try to cram new material the night before the test. This actually has a derogatory effect of learning, and could make it more difficult for you to recall material you have already learned. Good luck!

Hi
Thanks a lot guys! And thanks i wuldnt forget to register for the exam. Well the JLS is relaxing but i learnt loads of stuff from there by compiling some code i cooked up myself and it showed some exciting stuff. Well i will drink loads of water, now that i know i culd get de-hydrated and i will go thru objectives a night before just to get ready. I look forward to my SCJP. I intend to take it next week wednesday. Thanks a lot guys.

Whatever writing utensils they give you... ask for two of them Mine ran out of ink.
