I believe there will be no books released within the 1st few months after Tiger released, because the exam is too new. Authors need sometime to disgest the new content and rewrite the books and sample questions as well.

K&B is going to update their SCJP cert book, however, I am not sure whether this book will be in the form of Head First series.

I guess the book is not yet published, as you dont have any info on that, even price. In fact, we saw this book cover last year already.

Also, Kathy and Bert, who are the moderators of this forum, did NOT mention anything from his book.

In addition, the cover should not be Java X, because there is NO such version.

Furthermore, the exam code for Tiger is 310-055 NOT 310-035. There is NO exam with code 310-037.

Since there are too much doubts on the book, I guess it is better to wait for the confirmation from the author.

I don't even see authors' names for that book? But I do know that Sybex got lots of good certification books, especially in networking certifications.

[levani]: I just found out that "exam cram" java 5 certification book is out :

Ummm, "Exam Cram" is misleading here. There's another book series with that title; this is unrelated.

Many, many people have tried and enjoyed previous editions. It was the best-selling Java certification book of its time. Of course, that was back when (a) Simon Roberts was listed first (b) Michael Ernest was also listed as an author, and (c) the Head First series hadn't been released yet.

[Ko Ko]: I don't even see authors' names for that book?

Try enlarging the cover photo.

Book web sites frequently have listings for books well before they are available. I suspect that no actualy copies exist anywhere at the moment.
