Exam 310-055 or 310-035

Could someone tell me whether I should write 310-055 or 310-035 exam? I mean which one is the latest and useful? AND What is the difference between the two..

Please Advise..

310-055 is the newer one. It covers the latest version of Java (Java 5.0, sometimes called 1.5). The -035 exam only covers Java 1.4.

So, the downside of -055 is that you have to know a lot more material to pass it. Of course, the upside is that YOU WILL KNOW A LOT MORE MATERIAL WHEN YOU PASS IT!

I would definitely suggesting taking the 1.5 exam (assuming you know Java and are interested in moving your career forward) if you feel you can learn the material (and anyone can!).

In fact, I think he will already know much more when he prepares, no matter the result is
