Hello,

I'm new to Java (not to programming) and I'd like to learn language and then to obtain certification (SCJP).

Is it right book "Core Java 2, Volume I, Fundamentals 7th Edition" and "Core Java 2, Volume II -- Advanced Features, Seventh Edition" by Cay Horstmann to learn JAVA, before starting test preparation?

Thanks for the opinion,
Val

This is a duplicate post for the one in the Java In General (Beginner) forum.

So I am going to close this one, since I already replied to the other one.

Please refrain from duplicate posting the same question in multiple forums.

Thanks

Mark
