SCJP Certificate?

Donno whether this is the right forum.. Please move it if it not so..

I passed SCJP with 83%. I got my mark sheets like from the center right after finishing my exam. My doubt is 'do I get any other certificate from Sun? If so, how to get it? I havent received any till now'. Please throw some light.

After a few weeks of finishing the exam (in US) I got a package from SUN. It contained a certificate with my name saying I am a Sun Certified Programmer and a pin saying Sun certified programmer.

But, to answer the question - it depends on where you live and which type of the exam you took (regular versus SAI - I don't think the SAI version entitles you to the certification kit). Assuming you took the normal version, a kit should be en route from Sun, and you can check it at the certification database online if they've mailed it. (If not, just drop them a line - I've found they're very good about sending out replacements.)

Hi Anjana,

Firstly Congrats on clearing SCJP, I cleared mine on 30th Dec.

U will get a complete kit which cotains your certificate and other stuff.

U will also be able to use Sun Logos on Ur CV and other places if U want.

The first thing is to register with CertManager.Net/sun

To register on this site U will need the info on Ur marks sheet that U got from the Prometric center. It takes a couple of days for your details to come up on the site and once the details are up U can check if they have sent Ur kit and U can also update Ur correspondence address.

I am waiting for SCJP 5.0 from a long time but still could not get any information. Please help me out to get the voucher in bangalore.
