Hi all,

I've read through the objectives of this exam and found to be different from that of my study book.
Is is really doesn't include the I/O (File, Listener..) and AWT ( Layout, Frame..) in the exam?

no it doesnt include i/o and awt.

Hi Beda,

It sounds like you have a study book for the SCJP 1.2 exam! That is a very old exam and it did include some I/O and AWT questions. The newer exams (1.4 and 1.5) don't have AWT or Swing as topics, although the 1.5 exam does have I/O as a topic.
