I'm considering taking the SCJP 1.5 exam (CX-310-055). However, here in Norway, the exam costs USD $410 (NOK 2100+VAT when ordered through Suns website), which I find a tad expensive. Is it possible to somehow get the exam cheaper, for example by ordering it elsewhere, or ordering SCJP and SCBCD at the same time?

I'm living in Brazil, here it's about 150 USD. Good luck anyway!

Maybe you can wait for some promotional events held by SUN, and you can purchase discounted exam vouchers.

Actually, 2100 nok is 164 British pounds and the exam for us is 150. I wouldn't call that expensive for an exam.

I'd imagine the reason it sounds a lot of dollars is because their currency has suffered pretty badly over the last 5 years or so. Prices for exams stay roughly the same so it just looks like it's costing you more compared to the US.
