Creating StreamSource or DOMSource from a java.io.String object

Hi,
How can I create a StreamSource or DOMSource object from a java.io.String object?
I have a java.io.String object which contains a well-formed XML string. I'd like to create a StreamSource or DOMSource object using the String object.
