I have a class B that extends class A, both class B and Class A contain few attributes. I want to serialize object of class B but I have a specific requirement that need that after unmarshalling only attributes of class A should be available to the client. Use of transient is not permitted because there are many situations when attribute of both A and B are required. Is there any way to achieve this?

Thanks for your help.
