Passing Object from one page to another

Dear Friends,
we are developing a site using java,servlets,jsp. i am retriving data from Database and stored in java.util objects like Vector. i want to pass there object from one jsp page to another jsp page.
can i do that without using session object?
if is there any solution please let me know in briefly...

One solution would be to store that data in a session scoped bean and retrieve the vector in another page by using bean <jsp:useBean>with same ID.
