Can you give us an example of what you would like to do?

I have read some pages.
I forgot what pages.
I want to view those pages after a month.
How?

You can search all of JavaRanch using Google; see the search box here.

I liked some pages.
I want to view those pages later on.
I want to mark those pages for later viewing.
There should be some support for marking pages in javaranch.

There isn't.
But you can use del.icio.us

You can add a bookmark in your browser to do this.

If you are using multipe browsers / multiple computers and want to be able to access the bookmarks from any of them, you might want to look at some of the Free Bookmark Managers that store your bookmarks in a common server. (I think that some JavaRanch members are using either de.lirio.us or del.icio.us (but I haven't looked into this myself)).

By the way - we are just offering suggestions as to how to do what you want to do given what is available with our forum software and what you have to do external to the forum itself. Some of these items have been raised as being desirable in a future version of JavaRanch.

Don't you just hate it when you are in the middle of composing your reply and somebody beats you to it with much the same information?
