we are sending mails to some users using
Java Mail Api. The problem is when the SMTP server is down or conjested, the Transport.send infinitely waits & so the program
Pls suggest some options. I tried useing
props.put("mail.smtp.host", hostid);
props.put("mail.smtp.port", smtpPort);
props.put("mail.smtp.connectiontimeout","600000");//timeout 10 mins
ie Time out for waiting but having doubt whether after timeout, the mail will be sent/qued or not
