Thanks to a change to the forum software performed by Jim Yingst, whenever you create a topic or a reply in this forum, the "disable smilies" box will be automatically checked.

This will help prevent custom actions in code fragments, such as <c:out> from looking like:

<c ut>

If you want to include smilies in your post, you'll now need to enable them by explicitly removing the check.



This change has also been made to the JSF, JDBC and Tomcat forums.
