I have to take a date from user through HTML dropdown box and I have to display past four dates of the user given date on next page.
I also have to pass those dates through session so that I can access that in future anywhere.

What is the procedure of doing this? can any one please provide me sample demo code?

Its better to use javascript.
First use the javascript to display the date in the dropdown menu. Then store the date in the session and retrieve it from the next page, now whrite the java script to diplay other 4 days date.

Please do not post the same question multiple times. Now we have two simultaneous conversation about the same topic, since there's also this duplicate thread. That's confusing and leads to duplicated effort: CarefullyChooseOneForum

Its better to use javascript.

That's debatable. Without knowing the particulars of the posters web app it's premature to make a blanket statement like that.
