Hello All,

Please let me know if there is any alternative to query string for passing data. The problem is that its a hyperlink (href) through which query string is passed and hence we cannot use request or session objects. Please suggest on this..

Regards

GET requests have to use query strings in the URL.

POST requests have to use form style text in the body of the request.

Assuming that you are talking about a request executed on the server side, and that the service you need to talk to supports POST, look into the HttpURLConnection and related classes in the java.net package of the standard Java library. There are plenty of tutorials and articles around on this sort of thing.
