Hi,
am sending somevalues to server through query string. When server wants to retrieve that value it is replacing the whitespace with %20. How this problem will be solved?

thanks

It's supposed to do that. When you retrieve the value with request.getParameter(), the space will be restored.

But, am appending the value in javascript as
window.location.href = "myjsp.jsp?+somex". and am getting the value of somex through request.getQueryString() .. is there any way to get "somex" value otherthan queryString() ?

thanks
indu

Why are you not use name/value pairs like everyone else?
