Hi,

I have problem while inserting into a Oracle table from java. I am getting the following error ORA-01438: value larger than specified precision allows for this column

Value = 99999999999999999999999999.99
I have defined the column size as number(28,2). I am using setDouble to set the value. I have also tried using BigDecimal but it resulted in the same error. Any solutions to overcomes this.

Thanks,
V.V.Jaishankar.
