hi ,
in my project i need to update the data which is present in my MSSQLServer destop engine based on the output of the MSSQL Server database this should take place over the web

let me know the way how to do that

The database schema is the same for both the server and client database

If you don't need to do it in code, you could use DTS.

If you need to do it in code, you can open connections to both databases, and select from one and insert into the other.

thanks for the reply,
we have decided not to use DTS and we have the query to do the data transfer

suppose a user clicks on a link on a web page it should automatically get the data from the server database ( this is simple as the application recides in the server ) and update in the client here we should establish a connection to the client database
how to do that
