How to implement the caching of database records in java?
which framework should be used for caching to increase the performance of the application?
can any one help me to do this?

Thank you in advance...

Manjula,
What application server are you using? Some of them come with built in caching frameworks.

I am working on Struts application using Eclipse. I am not using EJB.
I am using Tomcat server.

Shall I use whirlycache to cache DB records?

Thank you for replying for my query...

Just for your information.

Sometime back I have read a post on resultset caching supported by the JDBC API.You might want to search this forum for this topic.
