So this is a new edition in Head First Series.
I am wondering is it going to have same funny, interesting teaching methodology with lot of pictures, followed in several other books like HF design patterns etc..

it would be great if one example explanation provided(i.e. for group by etc.)

There's a sample chapter available online here. From that, you can probably get a pretty good feel for how the rest of the book will be laid out.

All Head First books are fairly collaborative. The same people who wrote the first books are still involved in the current books. HF has a methodology, and we've done our best to make sure all the books adhere to the same cognitive learning principles. I think you'll see that in the new books soon to hit the shelves as well!

Yes, that is very true.

I strongly believe thats where Head First stands unique in the crowd!
