In my project, every jsp pages must have data which is obtained from database. I don't know how I should obtain the data in the following cases?
1)The data is obtained from the database each time. However, I use entity bean (local interface) for accessing the database.
2)The data is obtained in an object which is sent in the request.
I want to ask which performance is better if the size of data is quite large.
Thanks!
Stephen

first choice. If the data is cutomer specific, use a stateful session bean, else, use an entity bean. sending large data across network is the last thing anyone wants.
