Hi,
I'm planning to use EJB for a financial project..
My financial numbers need formatting for the client; something like 1,000.123 $ should be the thing the client works with. Both for output AND input.
Where should the number formatting logic reside ? In the application layer or the web layer ?
thanks

Hi,
In my opinion the all the formatting logic should reside in the presentation layer of the application.
This is very much required in the multi-lingual application where currency, number format, etc. may be different for the differnt languages.
Regards,
Milind
