Hello Gurus
since IO is not allowed by EJB specs, I was looking forward to non-blocking IO features of J2SE141
I am trying to use NIO at web tier and pass the file object to EJB on another machine of middle tier and am not making much progress...
has any one tried this? Any info is appreciated!
thanks
Kiran

Kirin,
It's not forbidden, it's just discouraged. Don't worry about doing File IO in an EJB server -- it works in pretty much every EJB server on the planet and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. It'd be much easier to do it there than to mess with untried technology.
