Are the Concepts (EJB, Servlets ) explained specific to any Server???

If dealing specific to any Server-- Websphere... is Messaging Explained with MQ Series...or just JMS is Dealt???

Since there are no code samples, I strongly feel that deployments specific to app server is not covered.
