Are people still using ejb 2.0/2.1 (CMP/CMR) for new projects?. I can understand that ejb 2.0 /2.1 knowledge is necessary for maintaining legacy app. ejb 3.0 has had 2 drafts and oracle / jboss seem to be regularly shipping ejb 3.0 implementations , looks like the next ejb 3.0 draft will be final?
Looks like oracle and jboss would be the first to ship out implementations given their experience with toplink and hibernate respectively ?
Is it true that these products have to be tweaked a little to align to ejb specs?
Where does that leave bea and ibm?
I would like to know your thoughts.
