Hi All,
Please help me in this. I have been interviewed by one H1 consultant company and they sent me scanned offer in few hours. Without reading offer letter carefully, I said I accept your offer in email. I did this very stupid mistake.
Now after reading some clauses in offer, I do not want to accept the offer. But since in email I said I accept your offer and I will send you my documents etc. and now I dont want to accept that offer, what should I do? Will it create any problem to me if I dont accept their offer even if I wrote email saying I accept your offer.

Please help me. This is very urgent

Many thanks in advance

Rajesh

When they contact you, ask to query the contract before you sign. If you can't get the answer or amendment you want, don't sign.

Thanks Dave. But suppose they do not give me satisfactory answer and I do not accept their offer, can they take any action against me just because I wrote in email that I accept their offer. I did not sign offer yet. Just in email, I said I accept your offer and I will send you documents.

There is no acceptance without a signed contract. The email was a mistake, but it shouldn't hurt you too much.

Oh, and the whole point behind saying "yes, subject to ..." is that it always give you an opportunity to say "no thanks"

Please refrain from using the word "Urgent" in your subject, as explained here. We have lots of other useful tips for asking questions on JavaRanch as well.
