What is "HTTP Tunneling" ? Would this allow to use ActiveMQ to send/receive messages through firewalls? Is there any performance overhead?

Thanks.

Hmm, got part of it solved. HTTP Tunneling allows ActiveMQ to work over firewalls. But the performance overhead problem is still unsolved. Another new issue : will there be reliability issues due to connection-less nature of HTTP?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
