We have a message driven bean which Listens to a Queue and whenever there is a message it process the same

but if there is a back up process running and if the message comes in between this process then we don't want to read that the message,we want the message to be kept in the queue and once the backup process is complete then read the message and continue the normal activity

Is there any way to achieve the same??
