file and then copy the section beyond that book mark till we come across another bookmark.

Do you need to extract the text between bookmarks, or the RTF between them? I'm not aware of a library that can read RTF and handle it as text. RTF is pretty structured, though, so you could parse the file yourself, and look for the bookmark tags.
