I would like to see some data, but for the moment, just my impression: I believe that only a minority of information systems and technology professionals work in what one can categorize as "core IS/IT": operating systems, database systems, programming languages, application frameworks,, and that there are significantly more of them in sectors of activity like (alphabetical order) commerce, engineering, finance,
From this perspective, the core IS/IT appears heavily overrepresented in the book.
Is this a characteristic of the stars or a choice of the author?
