Showing SQL in a JTable

I've got a JInternalFrame with a textfield and a table. A user can enter keywords to search for in a database and results are shown in the table below. It works, but results are only shown if the user drags the frame. How can I show result sets/ update my table without moving the frame?

Did you remember to call fireTableDataChanged() in the method of your TableModel that is adding the new data to the table?
