JInternalFrame immediate closing

I am developing an MDI application, so many JInternalFrmaes and each internalframe has some components on it.when i close that internalframe it is taking 20 seconds minimum to close(may be repainting slowly).
can any one help to close this immeidiately when i click close button.

Have U included System.exit(0) statement in ur code

I think it has nothing to do with System.exit(0);.....

I am able to close the jinternalframe ...but it is taking 20 seconds(May be repainting slowly).

I want to close it immediately when i click on close button.
