You might try increasing the amount of memory allocated (heap size) for your JVM using the -Xms and -Xmx options.

Sounds like you have a memory leak. What renderer do you use?

I am using my own tableCellRenderer...
in paintCell()//for rendering data
method I am setting the renderer.
but when dragging the table header with mouse
the renderer object keep on increasing...
destroy() is there but not calling it..
