RadioButton with no select circle?

I can't figure out why my radio button has now select circle that you click when you want to select. The imageIcon appers fine.

JRadioButton blueRB = new JRadioButton();

I then add it to a frame

Are you sure you're not placing something in it's place?

For example, consider if you use a BorderLayout and place two items in the same place:
add(item1,BorderLayout.NORTH);
add(item2,BorderLayout.NORTH);

Obviously only one of those would appear. Since you haven't really put any of your code, I'm only guessing at what could be wrong, but I'd first look at this as a possibility.

I checked and I haven't added it to the same place, thanks anyway

Does anyone else have an idea what could have cause the dissapearing radiobutton check circle?
 
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry. A wrung this tiny ad and it was still dry.
