I am working on a project that requires:

* multiple line text that is uneditable by the program end-user

I am experimenting with JTextArea, line wrap and filters to accomplish this task.

My question is:

Does anyone have any advice concerning best practices for accomplishing this GUI?

It's depends on your requirement.

If it is ok to use TextArea.. that would be a good option.

The other option is using paint.. you have to write all the text using Graphics object.

Thanks,
Sam
