In the latest PAPER issue (May 2000) of ( http://www.webtechniques.com ) WebTechniques magazine there is is a nice short article on JSP: "Caffeinate Your HTML With A Shot Of Java".
Among other things, it shows (and explains) the Java code (in the form of a Servlet) that is generated by a JSP.
