Hi,
I'm using Tomcat, and that works fine for servlets. However, when I create a jsp page, or try to run the examples, I get an
Error 500:
sun/tools/javac/Main
I'm not sure what this is. I imagine perhaps I have to adjust something in my classpath. IF anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

How are you running .jsp examples? Give us a little more on how and what are you doing?

I'm using tomcat, and they're stored in /foo/jakarta-tomcat/webapps/examples/WEB-INF/classes
Then I call them up by the following: http://localhost:8080/examples/servlet/(servlet here).
This works fine, but it doesn't work for jsp. I get the error message that I mentioned above.

Don't put the JSP as deep as that.
Place a very simple hello world JSP in the examples directory (not in the WEB-INF/classes under the examples). You should get it like this: http://localhost:8080/examples/Hello.jsp

I think that worked. Thanks for your help. That was easier than I thought.
