SUN CERTIFIED WEB COMPONENT DEVELOPER FOR J2EE PLATFORM

Hi all,
I am writing this message to give you info on the new servlet/JSP MVC certification Sun will make available July 31st. I was surprised to see this on Sun ed's site. I know this does not belong to this forum but it is brand new and no forum on this subject is available. It is a multiple choice exam like SCJP and costs the same. Well, this will certainly give people a lot to do, the exam objectives can be found here. This is pretty cool for web developers like myself, check it out!

That's AWESOME! I was wondering how long it was gonna take them to get around to a servlet certificaton. With servlets becoming as important as they are in today's web development the need for this test is without question!! Im there as soon as I get my programmer cert becuase I LOVE SERVLETS! Does anyone know if there is a prerequisite for this test? It seems to be sandwiched between the developer and architect exams. I've been holding off the developer exam, until I'm convinced it's necessary.
