Hi all !
There seem to be no one who can help me with my problem ...I haven't recd even a single reply...I am just posting same query again ...just to push my luck...let's see
Problem:
Can anyone tell me how to parse a .dat file using servlets and also if we can use transactions along with the servlet we write. Actually I have to write a servlet which reads a .dat file and put it into the database. But the database is open for other transactions as well (ie. some read only operations from it's users). Please tell me how to go about.

ThanX
Manoj
