My home page url is unsecure. (Example: http://yyy:805) At login, I create a session and add user info to it. After login, the user is redirected to a secure port. Example: (https://yyy:405) I can no longer access the session I created previously. This only happens in Netscape! IE works fine! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

One strategy you could do is to save the session information, or references to it via URL params- and parse/load the params after you get to the new port.

did you try to use response.encodeURL() or response.encodeRedirectURL() ?
