Hi pals,
Let us find some historical events, be it incident or accident! So that it can become an archive for the knowledge seekers and we can start searching after finding the names here. Each of us may name one or more than one....any better suggestion to continue the topic is warmly accepted.....
I start with..........
The sinking of Titanic!

In 1889, Esposito of Pizzeria di Pietro (now called Pizzeria Brandi, Naples, Italy) baked pizza especially for the visit of Italian King Umberto I and Queen Margherita. So Pizza Margherita was born.

Sure, why not? Of course, "infinity B.C." should be more like "-10-20 billion C.E." I think. And I suppose it's hard to justify calling it historic when it's well before pre-historic. But as for the "theory" part - be nice now. We nonbelievers did keep quiet for the "crucifixion of Jesus" post earlier, after all...

Gregg,
No harm in believing that it happened, simply because no other theory really fits that smooth in to our limited reasoning abilities... Just, there was a BOOOOOOMMM, and then everything was in place.. See how easy
Jim,
Yup, that is not an historic event at all. Its very pre.pre.pre.pre.pre...historic. But that is also the very basic event which caused(? ) all the above posted historic events. So thats Ok..
No? Still not convinced? Ok forget it then .

Ashok.

But the crucifixion of Jesus is a factual historical event that has had lasting ramifications on the development of western civilization. Whether or not you BELIEVE what he taught, it had (and still has) a profound effect on our lives.
