hi all, iam developing a webapplication,, for this i ve to give an UPLOAD PHOTO option to the users.. i dont know how to do that ,, please tell me the answers.. is there any class to upload a file to server... how can we specify the location on the server..

HI Soamraju,

Bear told the big way. Thats the way we should do.

But for practicing it as a Basic step...

try doing this:

submit a path to a photo to Servlet.
In servlet using URL class try to read the stream from client.
and write it into another location for testing.

I didn't do it. Just got an idea.

That is obvious as there is much more to it than that. The stream will be in the format of a multi-part request which must be parsed.
