If you fire up Explorer with a URL you'll wind up doing a GET on the URL. If you really need a POST, you might GET a dummy page that has JavaScript to invoke a POST to the real URL as soon as its loaded.
A good question is never answered. It is not a bolt to be tightened into place but a seed to be planted and to bear more seed toward the hope of greening the landscape of the idea. John Ciardi
