Hi Folks

Does any know of a simple solution for running a java program as an NT service? I have written a simple java socket client app that runs on my users pc machines. But I don't have an automatic way of having the app run when switches their pc on. The client app is listening for requests from a server. The client needs to run in the background. Any ideas?

Please read this. I've deleted several other copies of this thread.

There's a tool out there that does this; I forget what it's called, though. Google for "Java Windows Service" and you'll find it soon enough.
