i need help in knowing abt the usuage of printstacktrace() method in java(Exception Handling)

What help you need? The Java API has it all (look for the printStackTrace() method).

The printStackTrace() method, prints the stack trace to the standard error stream and you can use the stacktrace to look for the place where the error occured.

All your method calls are stored in a stack (LIFO). When an exception happens you can get the exception to print the stackTrace to trace where the problem is.
