What you do expect from a trainer ?
Have you ever had any bad/good experience in training ?
OR anything which you think a trainer should know.
Why am I asking this ?? Might be I am planning to open my own traning inst.

I think you need to be more specific, which could help us to give you some general tips.

So you may include JAVA in your training curriculum !!
alternatively, TAE-KWAN-DO is also in demand. Self defense you know

Thanks for the suggestions but I am more interested in knowing what makes a trainer a good trainer?

Interactive discussions with the students instead of just moving the slides one by one for the sake of time and money.

Thats a nice topic for training... "What makes a trainer a good trainer" ... and see how it fares
reminds me of a joke:
We have BEST SELLERS in novels etc., a guy published a book with topic "How to write a WORST SELLER novel" and only few copies of that book were purchased ... now was that his success or failure

How about, "the ability to understand what question a student is asking."
I often get very frustrated in a class when another student asks a question to which I know the answer, and I have to sit and listen to them go back and forth as the teacher keeps misunderstanding the student's issue and responds again and again with irrelevant answers.

It will depend on personal own capability and student's communication skill.
But there is nothing which cant be developed so what a trainer should do to understand the question ?
I think trainer should ask some basic questions first related to the topic to understand the real question.
