Hi guys, what is Java Desktop system? operating system?
I read the following:
"The Java Desktop System is a comprehensive and secure enterprise desktop environment that
runs on Solaris and Linux."
is it an application that installed on linux?
is it an Operating system that, in order to install it in my machine, I must have Linux or Solaris?
As Java Developers? what this system can offer to us?
Again what is Sun Java Enterprise System?
I visit sun.com hundred times, but I see the explanation is (somehow) not good.

Consider Paul's rocket mass heater.
