Dear friends,

I am new in J2EE(i am basically a mainframe person), i am really confused by looking at the differnt terminologies used in J2EE(JSP,Servlet,EJB,XML,JNDI,SOAP and so many). Somebody told me JSP,Servlet and EJB are the most important components of J2EE, but i am really confused how important are others(JNDI,SOAP,CORBA).

Can anyone suggest me what are the most important components to learn in J2EE ? i mean where i should invest my most of the time ,and where to start from ?

Please help me.

Hello Sabya

Get started with the Sun's J2EE tutorial.

Best regards,

At first start with Java.
Then learn the Servlets and JSP's.
Then learn what your application will need.

I agree with David. Start with basic Java j2sdk stuff. After you master that, you can go on to the j2ee stuff.
