question about java.sound.midi

Not sure if this is the right forum, but it's definately a beginner question!

In "Head First Java", on topic about making "BeatBox". there are some numbers representing drum instruments. e.g: 35 for bass drum, 42 for closed Hi-hat...etc

please can someone tell me where in J2SE API or on the web I can find more details on this, especially if I need to get numbers for other instruments.
